A Few Points About Product Sources For Ebay

• Before you buy, make sure you can make a profit. Remember that the buyers on EBay are looking fordiscount products. If they weren’t, they would just go to Walmart to buy the things they were looking for instead of bidding and then waiting a week to get their purchase. Try to buy products for 25% of what you can sell them for or better.

• The more you know, the more money you will make. If you want to sell collectibles, you better know a little bit about them. You’ve got to be able to recognize deals when you see them and jump on them before anyone else does.

• If it was easy to find the source, then you are probably not going to make much money. In other words, if it only took you a few minutes to find it, then someone else will find it also

• Most wholesale source e-books and manuals are ripoffs. So many e-books speak of “secret EBay sources.” Why are they secret? Don’t these people want to make money? If so, why are they being so secretive? And if they are, the secret is out, because everyone seems to be buying these information products.

• Don’t just spend all of your time online looking for sources. You will find a few things, but a lot of the products you can sell are located in the city you live in. If you do look for online sources, search for yourself before using someone else’s links, using keywords such as liquidation” and “closeout”. Combine them with the desired products such as “computer liquidation.” This may take some time, but it will payoff in the long run. In fact you can go to http://www.google.com/alerts to get an email from Google whenever these search terms show up in Google news and be one of the first to find out. I just did it to test the process and found a company that was going out of business and liquidating the contents of 172 stores including one right here in Phoenix.
