Appearance For An Auction

Html

Gone are days when you can beat your competition with a simple text ad. You will need to use html to make your ad look professional. Sometimes the appearance of your ad may turn browsers into buyers.

EBay has listing designs, templates, available for use. These cost you an extra $ 0.10 for each listing. The only problem is
that although there are over a hundred to choose from, many of you customers will have seen them before and may see you as a copycat. It is must better to find your own free templates online. You can even adapt ones meant for websites to auction ads

Photos and graphics

EBay allows you to upload one photo for your listing for free. This is the photo that will be included in the gallery if you choose that option. But if you choose to host photos on your own site or find free photo hosting (there are links in the resource section), you can add as many photos to your description as you want.

But there is a little more to preparing your photos than taking a few snapshots and uploading them. If you are selling hard products, the photos should represent your product well. They should help sell it and they should prevent annoying, useless questions about condition, color, etc.

I recommend Gimp in the resource section for editing your photos if you are looking for something you can download for free.

Visit http://www.pcworld.com/howto/article/0,aid,112658,00.asp for an article on preparing your photos for EBay. Photography is not something I am great at, so instead I found a great article.

If you are creating a software box or a book cover for your electronic products, you can’t go wrong with Scott’s Box Shot creator listed in the resource section.
